Can you help?Dispatches’ is Channel 4’s acclaimed current affairs series. We are making a programme to be transmitted at the end of May which will highlight the issues surrounding waste collection and recycling.The film will feature all aspects of the debate surrounding alternate waste collection and recycling targets including the initiatives and actions of local councils, and the experiences of residents. We will be filming around Britain to report on the varying ways waste and recycling is managed, and what the results are. We will examine concerns around public health and vermin control linked to fortnightly collections; report on the increase in recycling associated with fortnightly collections; look at Government and EU policy; and council initiatives to encourage greater recycling.
