Landfill waste increasing?A report in the Daily Mail business pages suggests that alternate weekly schemes are not helping to reduce waste going to landfill:

Biffa heaped ordure on the greenwash by announcing a greater than
expected boost in business at its landfill sites.
Biffa's trading update, which sent its shares 19p up to 240p on the
unexpected news, suggests consumers are chucking more rubbish in the bin instead of the recycling box.
Biffa has also increased prices for landfill customers."
