Scarborough, Kirklees and North LanarkshireOur "local authorities" link includes Scarborough, Kirklees and North Lanarkshire as 3 of 16 councils to have trialed fortnightly collections but reverted to weekly. If this scheme was not accepted by residents in previous years there is no reason why it should be accepted now.
Now, however, they are again introducing alternate weekly collections in their boroughs. We hope that residents will voice their objections in large numbers.
